National French game, coming from Marseille. There is wooden ball, called cochonnet - a piggy and a straight, corded scoop, which is used to settle possible disputes concerning the distance between the pig and balls and determinate the circle. One of the first team players chooses place for game and draws a circle with a diameter of not less than 35 cm and no more than 50 cm on the ground. The first player standing with both legs in the drawn circle throws a pig at a distance of about 6 to 10 m, keeping 1 m distance from obstacles (walls, trees, bushes). The starting game throws the ball as close as possible to the pig. Both throwers feet must be within the circle and in contact with the ground until touched by a ball of earth. The closer ball to the pig is winner.
